To pass the time on Easter Day (April 18), which is on a Friday, we went on a trip to Sorinsim National Park, which is located in Marak-Parak, Kota Marudu. During the journey, what caught my attention was the time and road conditions. It has been many years the road is still gravel. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes or 2 hours to reach.

Last I was there was in February 2013. In the month of October (that year), the road was still being upgraded when i reached the Talas Village.

Unexpectedly, our journey of 32.5 kilometers was on a paved road which only took us 33 minutes to reach. In the meantime, now the road is accessible directly to Ranau district, which only takes about 1 hour.
Looking back at the situation of the resort in the past. Before the road upgrades, the park has been quiet from having very few visitors.
However, today I am surprised by the turnout of visitors who have come to visit. The park is no longer as it was in the past, when i could only hear the sound of insects and the flow of the river. Today, I could hear
children running around.
What can we do there?
Normal activities are swimming, picnicking, and camping. The place is also a focus for students to come for study visits because the place is appropriate. There are many types of wildlife and thus the flora and fauna are not disturbed.
In addition, climbing is the most eagerly-awaited activity for extreme-sport lovers because it has the third highest mountain in Malaysia with a height of 2580 meters - Mount Tambuyukon.
Do you also feel like to go there? What are you waiting for? Let's plan, This time lahh! :D
